The Lego version has already made it into the bowl, so why not the virtual tour now?
What? Are you waiting to become an astronaut? Think Doctor Who is going to come and take you on a journey? Heck, No! Let’s start some space travel right here, right now. All it takes is a click.
Are you going to make the rules or are you going to break the rules? Okay, so you don’t have to decide that today. We get it, but still, shouldn’t everyone get a peak inside and see how it’s done. Well, we are not going to do that. The best we can do today is go take a look inside the US Capitol. How about another virtual tour?
The comprehensive virtual tour allows the visitor to take a virtual, self-guided, room-by-room walking tour of the whole museum. The visitor can navigate from room to room either by using a floor map or by following blue arrow links connecting the rooms. Camera icons indicate hotspots where the visitor can get a close-up on a particular object or exhibit panel.
For now we just have to put them on the To Do List, but wouldn’t it be great if we had a transpoder to take us there right now. Or a Tardis. I guess we will have to settle for a virtual 360 degree tour of Seven Wonders
I moved to Oregon soon after Mount St. Helens exploded. It made for some pretty great sunsets. But things keep changing on this planet of ours. Look at how much this volcano changed between 2003 and 2006. 360 degree views no less.
