Clever Tricks: Smart Birds

Now if you were just a tiny little creature and you came to a tall glass that you couldn’t pick up and there was water in it that you wanted to drink but it was too low to reach, what would you do? There is an Aesop Fable about this and the bird that drops the rocks in until water rises, but if a picture is worth a 1000 words, then this video tells quite a bit.

8-Bit Stop Motion Trip With Legos

Wow. Four things we like that taste great together. Don’t you just love putting stuff in a bowl and mixing different ingredients together and just experimenting what it might taste like? Well, this is not that, because they clearly knew what they were doing taking the 8 bit video game look, mixing in Legos and animation and backing it with some great computer generated music. Pure fun in our bowl.

Crazy Dances!: The Lindy Hop

Don’t try this at home kidees! I have to admit it reminds me of what happens when you feed someone too much sugar.

And you have to admit that movie had a great title too!

Let’s Remake Star Wars!

Hey, let’s say you have nothing to do. Now we know that’s not true, because you are reading this, and there’s hundreds of things to do right here in Our Bowl. But let’s just pretend you had nothing to do.

Why not remake Star Wars with a little help from some friends? Some folks with plenty of good ideas decided to do this and you and your pals can join. 472 people (or teams of people, that is) each have the opportunity to remake 15 seconds of the film. When all is completed it will be stitched together and there will be a new version that YOU MADE! How cool is that?

This site could not have been built without the help and insight of Michael Morgenstern. My thanks go out to him.

Help save indie film and give this guy a job in web design or film!
